LGSearch makes it easier for those wanting to search for information about the public sector in the UK.

Aimed predominantly at those working in local government, it provides the power of a Google search, but limited to UK public sector websites, ensuring that the results are as relevant as possible.

The sites are broken down into the following categories:

• Local Government
• Central Government
• Health
• Police & Fire
• LG Related
• Social Media

Once you have run your search, you can select which types of sites you want to appear by selecting the appropriate category link.

It was developed by Dave Briggs, who works for Learning Pool, spreading the word about the benefits of using the web to innovate, collaborate and improve in government.
